Catholic Student Association

Our Catholic Student Association (CSA) is an official Southeastern student organization. Membership and participation is open to all students. Participation is a great way to meet students who share your faith-based values and identify yourself as part of an organized Catholic presence on campus.
Our CSA nights have varying activities from one meeting to the next, including praise and worship, prayer, scripture study, service, and fun activities.
CSA nights are usually on
Mondays during each semester from
7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The group gathers in the auditorium of the Student Center after the “business” portion of the session for FREE PIZZA and fellowship!
Our CSA is involved in ministry projects serving the St. Albert Community, as well as programs which help them develop their own faith and leadership skills. CSA members also serve as liturgical ministers for daily and Sunday Masses and as catechists for our Children’s Church program at our Sunday Masses.

CSA at Yogi Bear
CSA members volunteered to help support community members, Me-Me and Maurice LeBlanc decorate the Yogi Dome at their Jellystone Park for a Halloween fundraiser. Everyone had a great time, as is evident from the pictures, and good work was done. Oh, and they fed us some delicious Broasted Chicken (secret recipe)!!!
Thanks to Katy Flynn for being our photographer and for the clever captions - you may have to go to the photo gallery page to read the captions. :-)
2009 Mission Experience
The Shiprock Mission Experience from May 22-30 was a huge success. Thirty-three students, support community members and St. Albert Staff members traveled to Shiprock, NM to assist Christ the King and Sacred Heart parishes and parishioners on the Navajo reservation there. Many friendships and memories were made . . . photos can tell part of the story.
Holy Hitters
CSA formed an intramural softball team -- the Holy Hitters -- in the Spring of 2009.
Besides being a very good team, they had lots of fun!
Not only the team members but all of CSA enjoyed the camraderie and fun of the Monday and Wednesday night games!
