Welcome to the website of St. Albert the Great Chapel and Catholic Student Center in Hammond, Louisiana, serving Southeastern Louisiana University, the third largest university in the state, and second largest in the University of Louisiana System!

Owned and operated entirely by the Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge, St Albert Student Center has a rich history of serving the pastoral, religious, and spiritual needs of Southeastern’s Catholic community of students and staff for over 50 consecutive years. Our staff is dedicated to providing opportunities for everyone to gather regularly for prayer, the sacraments, devotions, fellowship, and fun. University staff, faculty, alumni, students, and local support community members are a vital part of the St. Albert family.
