Welcome to the website of St Albert the Great Chapel and Catholic Student Center in Hammond, Louisiana, serving Southeastern Louisiana University, the third largest university in the state, and second largest in the University of Louisiana System! Owned and operated entirely by the Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge, St Albert Student Center has a rich history of serving the pastoral, religious, and spiritual needs of Southeastern’s Catholic community of students and staff for 50 consecutive years. Our staff is dedicated to providing opportunities for everyone to gather regularly for prayer, the sacraments, devotions, fellowship, and fun. University staff, faculty, alumni, students, and local support community members are a vital part of the St. Albert family. Whether you seek advice, inspiration, friends, or free food, we hope you’ll make St. Albert your “home away from home!”

Worship Schedule Adjustments
If no changes are listed here, the weekend and weekday schedule is as it appears on the right side of this page:January 23 - 27: Communion Services at the usual Mass times Tuesday - Friday
February 6 -10: Mass on Wednesday at 7:30 AM
February 13 - 17: Communion services at the usual weekday Mass times.
February 20 - 24: No services on Monday and Tuesday; additional Mass on Ash Wednesday at 6 PM
April 2 - 6: Mass on Wednesday of Holy Week at 7:30 AM; Mass on Holy Thursday at 7 PM; no Mass on Good Friday - Service at 7 PM
April 9 13: Mass on Wednesday at 7:30 AM; Communion Services at the usual Mass times Thursday & Friday
